Note - Posts to business pages can be scheduled in two ways:

The new way (with the Chrome extension)
The current way (without the Chrome extension)
Facebook has been phasing this way out over time, and may not work for the majority of users.

Below goes over how to schedule posts the new way.

How to schedule a party to a page

From the PostMyParty menu, click Parties, then click the New Party button.

From the main menu in your PostMyParty account, click on the Post Library tab.

You will see 2 tabs at the top of the page:

Libraries - These are categories/folders to organize your individual posts.

Click the name of a Library to open and view posts

Or use the New Library button to create a new one

All Posts - This lists all posts that you've saved to your Post Library.

You can use the Search field in both Libraries and All Posts to find a particular post, using keywords or tags that would be in the post.

You can use the New Post button to add a post to any library, or the All Posts tab.

At the top of each individual post are these 4 icons:

Post Now - a window will pop up, allowing you to quickly schedule that individual post to Facebook
NOTE: *As of 4/22/24, the Post Now function is only available to post to Pages scheduled without the extension.

Posts can be scheduled to Facebook groups, business pages, events, and Messenger chats.

Before scheduling posts to any of those locations, make sure you have installed the PostMyParty Chrome extension.

How to Schedule a party

From the PostMyParty menu, click Parties, then click the New Party button.

Step 1) Get Started

Select where you want to post your party:

Group (select this to post to a personal or business page group)
Page (select this to post directly to a business page)
Event (select this to post to an event)
Chat (select this to post to a Facebook Messenger chat)

How to use the Adjust Posts feature

Accepted Answer

When posting to multiple parties on the same day(s), it is very important to make sure that you do not have posts scheduled for the exact same time. This tool is used to shift the posts forward or backward by the time increment you select.

For example, let's say your template has posts for 8am, 12pm, and 4pm. If you use the adjust Post tool and select +10 minutes, the times of those posts would shift to 8:10am, 12:10pm, and 4:10pm. This is especially helpful if you have multiple parties using the same template.

We've found making sure there's at least 5-10 minutes between any post leaving your account is a good deterrent of Facebook not blocking your account for posting too fast!).

What can happen, is the extension is loading the content for one post, then is interrupted by the next scheduled post before it has published the first.

This results in one (if not both) posts failing.

Or perhaps, you've just scheduled a party and want to change the times your posts are scheduled for.

To help with this, there is an Adjust Post feature at the top of every party.

To Adjust your posts:

From your PostMyParty dashboard, click Parties.
Click on the name of the party you want to adjust. Locate the Adjust Post feature near the top of that page.
