Create a Quick Post
Quick posts are used to post to a Facebook business page, without using the Chrome extension to publish them.
Before using this feature, you must be sure that your PostMyParty account is connected to your Facebook account.
To create a Quick Post:
From your PostMyParty dashboard, click Quick Post.
Select the business page you want to post to, from the Choose Page dropdown box provided.
What if my business page isn't listed?
- If you notice the dropdown box says No data available, or your business page is not one of the options listed, double-check that you are connected to your Facebook account.
- If you still have the same trouble after that, the business page you want to post to is no longer an option to schedule posts to in this manner. Instead, we recommend using the Chrome extension to publish your posts to your page.
How to Schedule Posts to Business Page
Next, there are two main sections can be filled in:
MESSAGE and MEDIA
MESSAGE (optional)
- Type or paste in any text you want to be included in this post.
- Add any website or video links to the Message box.
Use the Text Formatting tools to bold, italicize, or change the font, and the Emoji selection to add emojis to the post.
MEDIA (optional)
You can attach up to 15 pieces of media to each post.
This includes:
- Photos
- GIFs
- Video files up to 100MB
(Or 1G limit for the Professional tier subscription)
There are a few ways to upload media to your post:
- Click Browse File to upload photos, GIFs, and/or video files to this post.
Drag your media from a different window and drop it into the Media box.
- Use the Design on Canva button to connect to your Canva account, create or select an image, and upload that image directly to that post - all without leaving PostMyParty!
Post Example
Lastly, you will need to select when you want this post to be scheduled for.
- Timezone: Select the timezone you want your post to follow.
- Post On: Select the date you want this post to publish on.
- Time: Select the time you want this post to publish.
Click either Post Now to publish immediately (disregarding the date/time selected above), or Schedule Now to save this post for the time selected.
