How to Enable, Pin, and Refresh the extension

The PostMyParty Google Chrome extension is used to publish posts to Facebook, using a computer or laptop.

If you haven't already, you'll need to download the extension first: How to download the extension

Enable the extension:


  • Tap the Extensions icon from your browser bar (looks like a puzzle piece).

​

💡 Tip: Click the Pin icon to pin the PostMyParty extension for even easier access.




  • Click on PostMyParty either here in this box, or where it's been pinned. ​



​


  • If you aren't already, if will ask you to log in to your PostMyParty account.

​

​



  • Once logged in, a No Current Data window will be displayed.

​

​



​


  • Toggle the switch in the top right corner to ON.

​

The box will circle while loading any parties you have scheduled.

​

If you have parties scheduled that you want to post, you will need to either:

⭐Pre-load your content to your Facebook groups Click here to see how to pre-load contentIf this method is used, the posts will publish at the time scheduled for without your computer needing to be on.



​OR

⭐Ensure your computer is set up to publish by making sure the below conditions are met at the time your posts are scheduled for:Your computer is on. *If you are using a laptop, be sure to keep the lid open.* ​2. Your browser is open (the same one you had downloaded the extension to). ​3. You are logged into your Facebook account, in that same browser. ​See here to publish as your business page name ​4. The Chrome extension is on and has been refreshed.

If this method is used, when the time for a scheduled posts arrives, the extension will open an new tab, publish to the Facebook location it was scheduled for, then close the tab.
