How to use the extension's Schedule button for individual posts
This article walks you through how to use the Schedule button on INDIVIDUAL posts listed in the Chrome extension.
Pre-load your post's content to Facebook, so it's set to publish without your computer needing to be on!
β
π‘TIP:Do you want to schedule an entire party, instead of just a few individual posts? Using the Schedule a Party tool would be more efficient than what is described here.β
If you have not already, you'll need to schedule your posts on PostMyParty before following the steps below.
Open the extension
- From Google Chrome, click the Extension icon (looks like a puzzle piece).
β
β
- From the list given, choose PostMyParty.
- If it's not already, toggle the switch in the top right corner on.
You may be asked to sign in. If so, enter your PostMyParty login information.
β
The box will circle while thinking, then display all posts that are scheduled in your PostMyParty account.
Schedule a Post
- Click the Post queue tab, then the Upcoming section.

- Locate the post you want to pre-load to Facebook. Use the navigation arrows to look through your pages of posts, if needed.
- Click the Schedule icon beside a post you want to schedule to Facebook.

β
A new Facebook tab will pop up and load your post info, and fill in the Date and Time of that post.
(No need to copy/paste your content!)
β
After that, Facebook is responsible for publishing that post at the time selected.
β
For posts scheduled this way:
β
- You do not need to have your computer on or be connected to the internet at the time of that post for it to publish.
- You can continue to follow those steps for any post you'd like to schedule in this manner. If you want to pre-load all posts, using the Schedule a Party tool in the extension would be more efficient.
β
β
β
These posts can be found listed in the Manage panel on the left-hand side of the Facebook group they're scheduled to.
β
β
On PostMyParty, that post's status will now be labeled as Scheduled to Facebook on date/time.
